If we are running log siding, the end-matched product is passed through our peeling line. We have three large custom peeling machines with multiple settings, so no matter what size of log siding we are running we can achieve the best looking log siding products available in the industry as cost efficiently as possible. This is a benefit to both the end user and Town & Country Cedar Products. It increases our capacity and lowers your cost.

The last step in the production process is a final grading, review and stacking. This completes our log home products' transformation from kiln-dried white cedar cants to a finished log siding or paneling product.

We are able run everything you see in our product offerings through the production line due to our computer control box depicted above. We tell the computer what we want to produce and the controller sends a signal to each machine telling it what the settings need to be. The various knives are inserted and off we go. Hand crafting has now been combined to 21st century technology to efficiently produce log home materials. Our production line is available for tours. Contact us for your guided tour.

NOTHING IS WASTED. The sawdust and shavings from our log siding production line is blown into a silo and collected to be used for horse and dog bedding. Horse farms and kennels like our white cedar bi-products as it repells fleas and ticks just like it does termites in our homes. In addition, the production building is heated in the winter from excess steam from our kilns piped underground. Our goal is to keep our manufacturing and your costs to a minimum.
If you visit our production facilities you will be amazed at how our computer controlled production line efficiently operates and produces the highest quality products in the log home industry.
